Did you walk or drive a car around Moscow and encounter funny looking yellow pedestrian crossing in the intersections? Well, it is actually not for pedestrians, but for cars!
They are appearing in more and more intersections around Moscow. They actually mean that if you are taking a turn and your traffic light goes from green to red and your car is still on the yellow part of the intersection, you will be fined. They also put cameras which automatically take a picture of your registration and the fine is automatically sent. It started from 28th of April and it is slowly appearing in more and more intersections.
